The Labgrade project is configured as a university event on the topic of sustainability applied to the built environment, with the aim of addressing the wide-ranging issues and interdisciplinary complexity of sustainability for building structures and urban areas.
It provides technical, scientific and didactic support from university professors, researchers and professional teams.
It takes place in Milan where students are invited, mainly from the best contemporary educational and professional masters in urban, building and design accompanied by lecturers and tutors.
The event takes place mainly in the form of a design competition lasting an average of 72 hours followed by a conference with an award ceremony for the winners.
The challenge is structured to be included in international events and programs and in relations between universities and the productive and working world.

This year it is also linked to the creation of an handbook that will be available to citizens in thousands of municipalities on the protection, wise use and regeneration of environmental resources.

Labgrade project is an academic event on sustainability applied to the built environment, aimed at dealing with the issues and complexity of sustainability for building units and urban areas at broad scale. A real link connecting university / innovation / research / markets / international leaders in renewable energies / stages and work.
It takes place in Milan and it addresses to the students of the best master courses on urban planning, design and constructions with their tutors. It provides scientific, didactic and technical support from academic professors, researcher and qualified professionals.
The winner group of students, who stand out in terms of competence and organization will receive a prize money and the opportunity to perform a stage in qualified firms or professional studios in order to ease their admission to the professional world of sustainability experts.
